A Message From Our CEO
Every life we touch tells a story of resilience and possibility, from a child speaking their first words to a young adult landing their first job. Through every milestone, Center for Human Services (CHS) is a helping hand, supporting families in finding peace through direct therapy and ongoing resources.
What makes us unique is our commitment to providing care for a lifetime. CHS is there for the earliest steps of childhood to the triumphs of adulthood through a variety of programs like community, residential, and employment services. I'm proud to share that this year alone, out of 130 participants, 24 indiviudals are working 100% independently and are gaining work experience through our network of 150 partner employers across Missouri.

Meet Preston
A particpant in CHS's Pre-Vocational Services, gained valuable hands-on experience with Helping Hands, a civic group in Sedalia, Missouri.
With guidance from a dedicated CHS Job Coach, Preston learned skills like window framing, using hand and power tools, all while strengthening his ability to collaborate and contribute within a team.
More importantly, Preston built confidence and began to see his own potential.
Preston's CHS Job Coach described Helping Hands as "the best site I've ever worked with," highlighting the powerful outcomes possible through strong partnerships and individualized support.
