This page is designed to assist the Center for Human Services family of employees. You can use this page to enter time, access email, and review our internal FAQ section.
FAQs
Our pay period is the 1st-15th and from the 16th until the end of the month. If you started somewhere between the 1st and the 15th, you would receive your first check on the 22nd. If you started between the 16th and the last day of the month, you would receive your first check on the 7th of the following month.
Twice a month, on the 7th and 22nd. If either of those dates falls on a weekend or holiday, every effort will be made to issue checks before that date.
To check the amount of leave you have you’ll need to (1) log onto Kronos, (2) click on “My Account” (3) click on “My Time Off” (4) click on “Request” The amounts listed at the top appear under "Balances" and show much sick and vacation time you have accrued.
After 30 days of employment, insurance can be used on the first day of the month.
Most training will be held in the conference rooms of our headquarters at the Ewing Center (EC) in Sedalia.
Print the mileage log out of Kronos - Form Act-A-012. Complete the form and also complete the form ACT-P-011. Submit both forms to your supervisor before the 15th of the month, or at the end of the month.
Personal calls are not allowed at work unless it is an emergency or an important phone call. Staff needs to inform their supervisor that they are expecting a phone call, and also notify the people answering the phone.
The dress code depends on your work area. Please refer to policy CHS-P-004 (Dress Code/Personal Appearance).
You need to talk with the supervisor about these dates. Please review our policy pertaining to vacation and the introductory period.
Center for Human Services does not allow smoking on the property. Please refer to HRD-P-025 for an explanation of our Tobacco Free Environment.

WebMail, SpendMap, & the Computer: The IT Department is responsible for resetting your password for these. Please contact Caleb Huntsman, Robin Moran, or Dennis Hamilton.
Set-Works: Your supervisor will be able to reset your password.
You may sign up for training in Kronos WFR. You will be shown how to do this in the Technology Course. Your supervisor will notify you when you are approved for a course.
You can find the training requirements for each position by reading policy HRD-P-022. A copy was also provided in the employee handbook when you were hired.
These decisions are made by your supervisor and would be funded by your department. If you become aware of excellent training in the community, please request permission from your supervisor. Also, consider forwarding the information to the Training Specialist to share agency-wide!
Absolutely! Be sure to clock in before and after training.
