About Chariton Valley Association (CVA)
CVA was established in 1982 in Kirksville, Missouri, by a group of parents of children with developmental disabilities who recognized a need for local services. It has a proud history of providing high quality support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in northeast Missouri, primarily in Adair County.
In January 2023, CVA became a proud partner of Center for Human Services. Through this partnership, we’ve created strength and meaningful change for individuals with developmental disabilities in northeast Missouri and beyond.

Like Center for Human Services, CVA focuses on person-centered supports that move individuals toward independence and make an impact in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities.
