Center for Human Services Announces Acquisition with Bridges Community Support Services 

Center for Human Services (CHS) and Bridges Community Support Services (Bridges) announce acquisition bringing the two organizations together in service to support individuals, families, and communities across Missouri.

This new chapter is set to take effect October 1, 2026, and reflects a shared commitment to strengthening both organizations, while supporting the individuals and families they serve. Center for Human Services is a Missouri-based non-profit organization that has served people of all ages since 1955. Today, more than 850 CHS employees support thousands of individuals across Missouri through early childhood, behavioral health, education, housing supports, senior services, and a wide range of services specific to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Bridges Community Support Services provides counseling and support services for individuals and families in the St. Louis, Missouri, area. Like CHS, Bridges is dedicated to person-centered care, strong community relationships, employee support, and helping each person identify and achieve their life goals.

This transition preserves Bridges’ legacy, strengthens the foundation for future growth, and ensures the people and families we serve continue to receive high-quality support as I prepare for retirement.”
