How It Works

  1. Make an eligible contribution to Center for Human Services (CHS).
Contributions must meet the eligibility requirements of the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP).
  2. Complete the NAP Tax Credit Application.
Return the completed application to CHS along with any required supporting documentation.
  3. CHS submits the application to the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED).
CHS will submit your application and all required supporting documentation for review and approval.
  4. Receive your tax credit.
Once approved, the DED will issue a Missouri NAP Tax Credit equal to 50% of your eligible contribution amount. The tax credit can then be applied toward your Missouri state tax liability in accordance with program guidelines.
