Noah Nanneman’s Story

Noah Nanneman’s journey with the Center for Human Services (CHS) started in 2017 after he graduated high school and wanted to gain employment. Through CHS Noah started receiving Employment Supports. His Service Coordinator, Debra Hope and Employment Specialist, Lance Dorrell helped him look for a job. After some time searching, he found a job that best suited him and was hired as a Custodian at the CHS Warsaw office.

Noah likes working as an employee for CHS, earning a paycheck and doing his part. This allows him to purchase things he wants to buy, and the ability to spend some extra money on his family.  Noah has now worked in his position for over a year and a half, works two days a week, and has advanced from having a Job Coach to working independently.

When Noah is not working, he enjoys drawing cartoon folk art in old graphic cartoon style and likes to draw anime style. Noah also enjoys reading about military history and adventure, collects military memorabilia, medals, and books.

CHS services and people have ultimately impacted his life. Noah stated, “CHS has given me a job when no one else would! I like working with my co-workers in the office, they are very kind and friendly people to work with.” Noah’s goal was to get a job and with the help from CHS he was able to reach that goal and looks forward to the future.
