Service Area Links

In addition to its primary service area of Pettis and Saline Counties, the Center provides a variety of services in other counties thru contracts with sate agencies and county Senate Bill 40 Boards.

Employment Services:

Benton County: CHS a Vocational Training program in Warsaw that allows program participants to perform contract work for local companies. The center will become a DESE certified sheltered workshop.

Community Living Services

Benton County: CHS operates an Activity Center in Warsaw that provides day activities and life skills training for program participants.

Moniteau County: CHS contracts with the Moniteau County Senate Bill 40 Board to provide HUD subsidized apartments in Tipton and a HUD subsidized group home with 24 hour staff supports and an activity center in California. For more information, http://www.chs-mo.org/Moniteau/moniteauSB40.htm

Family & Child Development Services

Through a contract with the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE), The Center serves as the System Point of Entry (SPOE) for the First Steps Program in Regions 6 & 9 as shown on the map. First Steps is the Missouri System of Early Intervention for preschool children with developmental disabilities.
